1. General terms and conditions

Chevalier AB (Chevalier AB, Konstruktionsvägen 3, SE-435 33 Mölnlycke, Sweden, bus. reg. no. 556726-6811) Right of cancellation applies for 30 days following receipt of delivery.

You may not order online using www.chevalier.se if you are under the age of 18 or under custodianship.

You can order from the website only in an individual consumer capacity, and not as a company or business. If you would like to place an order as a business, please contact us directly.

2. Ordering

Our products can be ordered via our stockists and at www.chevalier.se . Orders received via www.chevalier.se will be confirmed by e-mail.

Purchase agreements are confirmed only once we have sent you an order confirmation at the e-mail you supplied when placing the order. We recommend that you keep the order confirmation that you receive from us.

We reserve the right to deny clients purchase. All orders are considered binding. If you have placed an order by mistake, you must contact us immediately following the instructions below.

We reserve the right to amend orders if, for some reason, delivery is not possible. If you have placed several orders, we reserve the right to combine them and deliver them in one single parcel.

3. Prices

All prices are given in SEK, inclusive of Swedish VAT, which is 25% at present. Chevalier does not assume responsibility for inaccuracies in prices and inventory balances, products going out of stock, printing errors, etc. A product that has already been dispatched from our warehouse will not be affected by price changes that take place after the order has been placed, for example special offers, sales or changed pricing. We assume no responsibility for VAT increases and other price changes outside of our control. A shipping fee and, if applicable, an invoice fee will be added.

As a rule, discount codes are valid for only one purchase and cannot be combined with other offers. We ask that you check that the price is correct before you complete your purchase. We reserve the right to deny purchase or cancel orders in the event of misuse or incorrect information of any kind, payment problems or inappropriate use of discount codes.

4. Payment

We use Klarna Checkout, offered in collaboration with Klarna AB. Klarna Checkout distinguishes between purchase and payment. First, you confirm your purchase and then you select your payment method. The payment methods currently offered via Klarna Checkout are invoice, credit account, card payment and direct payment via your bank.

By using Klarna Checkout, you are accepting the terms and conditions of Klarna AB (bus. reg. no. 556737-0431, Sveavägen 46, SE-111 34 Stockholm, Sweden) (“Klarna”) or (Klarna Financial Services UK Limited - in United Kingdom). You need to be over the age of 18 to use Klarna Checkout.

5. Shipping fee and delivery times

EU: Shipping is free for orders of EUR 100 or over. A shipping fee of EUR 7, including VAT, will be charged for orders under EUR 100.

UK: A shipping fee of 12£, including VAT, will be charged for orders under 150£.

The normal delivery time is 2-6 days following dispatch of the product from our warehouse. We will send you a confirmation e-mail with a tracking link once the order has left the warehouse.

Deviations may occur. Chevalier cannot be held responsible for delivering products that are temporarily out of stock or no longer stocked. The shipping fee will always be shown in your shopping basket.

We will do everything we can to deliver your order as quickly as possible. As the customer, you are nevertheless entitled to cancel your purchase in the event of major delivery delays.

6. Uncollected parcels

We reserve the right to charge a fee for the administration required in connection with uncollected parcels (return shipping, administrative costs, etc.). Our fee for any parcels not collected is SEK 295. Parcels will be kept by the relevant delivery location agent for approximately 14 days before being returned to us. Please note that if you have second thoughts about a purchase and wish to return the product, you must collect the parcel and then return it in accordance with the instructions included with the shipment.

7. Personal data

Any personal information supplied to Chevalier AB will be handled in accordance with GDPR and Swedish data security legislation. By submitting your personal information, you consent to our using the information collected to fulfill our obligations to you and provide you with the service you expect from us, for example the completion of deliveries. We may also send you newsletters or other information by e-mail, provided that you have indicated that you wish to receive newsletters. You may unsubscribe from these at any time.

Chevalier AB will not sell or share your personal data with any third party. You also have the right to access the personal data that Chevalier processes about you.

8. Exchanges/cancellation

Right of cancellation applies for 30 days following receipt of delivery. You may ask for your money back, within 14 days of the parcel being collected from the delivery location, by you or by an agent appointed by you. The product must be returned in unaltered condition and in its original packaging. The product must be unused and in a condition that allows it to be resold without further action on our part. Socks cannot be returned if they are not in completely unbroken packaging. The parcel will contain instructions on how to go about returning products. We reserve the right to charge the customer if anything is missing from the return. Returns that do not comply with the return instructions will not be processed. Returns sent cash on delivery will not be collected.

To exchange the product for one of a different color or size, you place a new order.

Refunds will be issued by Klarna.

9. Claims

We process claims of products purchased via www.chevalier.se only. If you wish to claim a product purchased from any of our stockists, you must do so by contacting the stockist whose name is on your purchase receipt. If the stockist from which you purchased the product has ceased trading, please contact us.

You have the right to return faulty products for a period of three (3) years from the purchase date indicated on your receipt, in accordance with applicable law. To enable us to process a return, you must therefore be able to present a receipt.

Products purchased from us shall be without fault on delivery.

If you wish to claim a product, or if you have any questions, please send an e-mail to chevalier@chevalier.se, Please include your full name, order number, a brief account of why you wish to return the product, a picture of the damage and your contact details (address and telephone number).

10. Reservations

We do not take responsibility for any inaccuracies such as factual errors, incorrect prices, offers, product descriptions or other product information displayed at www.chevalier.se. All image content displayed at www.chevalier.se should be considered illustrative only. We cannot guarantee that the images are perfectly representative of product colors, fit or functions, for example.

11. Cookies

According to the Swedish Electronic Communications Act, which came into force on 25 July 2003, all visitors to a website must be informed whether that website uses cookies. We use cookies when you access our website. These are so-called session cookies and are used to save your login details (if you log in) and shopping basket when you shop online. Session cookies are not stored on your computer for long. They are deleted when you close your browser down.

If you do not accept the use of cookies, you can set your browser to automatically reject cookies or to let you know when a website uses cookies. If you turn cookies off, you won’t be able to shop, as cookies are required for the shopping basket and login functions. You can, however, browse the online shop without accepting cookies.

12. Force Majeure

Events outside of our control, such as natural disasters, war, labor market conflict, government decisions, missing subcontractor deliveries, cost-increasing circumstances or similar events that could not reasonably have been foreseen, shall be considered to constitute force majeure events. This means that Chevalier is released from its obligation to fulfill agreements entered into. If a force majeure situation arises, Chevalier shall inform the customer as soon as possible. If the obstacle to fulfilling the agreement ceases to exist, Chevalier shall also inform the customer of this as soon as possible.

13. Invalidity

If any of the stipulations of these terms and conditions are found to be invalid or unenforceable, the other stipulations shall continue to apply and be enforceable to the extent permitted by applicable law, provided that the consequence of the invalidity does not become unreasonably burdensome.

14. Disputes

Chevalier seeks to resolve potential disputes to benefit both you as the customer and Chevalier. If it is not possible to resolve the dispute by reaching an agreement, the dispute will be tried by the general court mandated by law or in accordance with an alternative dispute resolution procedure as set out below. Customers who are unable to reach an agreement with Chevalier in connection with a dispute always have recourse to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes.
